Business ethics is the foundation for company WeStand SA and thus obtained success and constant of upward course.

Since its inception in 1979, WeStand SA has relied on the belief that a company can be competitive and efficient while operating with principles and social sensitivity. Commitment to these principles and values is confirmed on a daily basis by the behavior of all of us and is crucial for the continuation of our course.

Therefore, we consider it our responsibility to inform all our employees, permanent associates and suppliers, in order to achieve a single operating framework and for this purpose we have created the Manual entitled "WeStand SA Code of Conduct".

This policy aims to capture the corporate vision of WeStand Kassos K. Store Furniture SA, to state the core values of the company and explain its mission.

FIELD OF APPLICATION

This policy is a statement of the company WeStand Kassos K. SA with application field in Manufacture, Trade, Installation and Maintenance of shop furniture and universal validity for all employees of the company, employees and executives.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility

At WeStand SA in the context of sustainability and social awareness we have developed a Corporate Social Responsibility program that promotes and supports with responsibility and sensitivity the optimization of the social and environmental impact of the company's operation. The main pillars that will determine the achievement of this goal are Society-Man-Environment.

  • Human Resources

Our people are the impact of the company's success. Attracting and retaining a highly specialized and highly academic staff is the foundation for the development of our company. We make sure that all our employees are provided with continuous and effective training in order to maximize their personal performance and at the same time achieve the strategic goals of the company.

We promote the spirit of teamwork and good cooperation, equal opportunities, constant updating business developments and in general the possibility for employees to have a "Voice" through a human-centred working environment that always respects the legal framework that protects workers' human rights.

We take care of and evaluate through an open channel of communication with the employees their levels of satisfaction in matters of fair treatment and management of isomerization of time in the triptych "work-family-leisure".

The Health and Safety of employees is of particular importance to us. WeStand SA is certified according to the international Health and Safety standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 which proves its commitment, but is in transition for the new ISO Standard 45001:2018. It also has a legal obligation to provide the services of a specialized Health and Safety Technician in order to timely and effectively prevent measures that ensure the prevention of accidents and provide employees with an appropriate safe and healthy work environment.

The preventive maintenance of the building facilities, the electromechanical equipment of the company's vehicles, the measurements of harmful factors by certified bodies, the provision of personal protective equipment to the employees and their continuous training in matters of first aid and emergency management are indicative of Awareness shown by the company on Health and Safety issues.

  • Environmental Protection

WeStand SA aims to reduce its energy footprint and the environmental impact of its productive activities. Our company has been certified based on the international environmental management standard ISO 14001: 2015 and promotes the green practice that it has cultivated for a clean and healthy environment throughout its range of activities.

Actions that prove our actions are the following:

Saving natural resources through the reduction of electricity consumption, management-control of water supply, fuel-heating fuels.

Measurements of emitted limits and concentrations of volatile compounds of mechanical equipment and handling vehicles during the production process stages by certified bodies.

Recycling of materials from the implementation of the final products (metals-crystals-plastics-wood- lamps-paper-ink cartridges-electronic equipment).

Its industrial waste management through cooperation with specialized waste disposal companies. Registered in HMA (electronic waste register).

We supply timber certified according to the FSC standard.

We have banned smoking inside the company in order to maintain a clean working environment as well as protect the health of our employees.

  • Social Responsibility

The interaction of financial success with environmental sensitivity determines WeStand SA Corporate Social Responsibility in the community in which it operates.

Supporting socially vulnerable groups, the educational community, volunteering initiatives that strengthen society, consist of the philosophy of the social role of our company.

Blood donation, donations of food and clothing and children's equipment, providing financial support are some of our actions.

We encourage our employees to practice active social contribution to society whenever needed.

We are constantly offering new job positions and keep a constant communication with the local bodies for the wide cooperation and coexistence based on the understanding of the respective needs that arise.

We systematically inform, communicate openly and cooperate constructively with our suppliers and customers on issues of social responsibility and business ethics.
